Holiday Inn Waterbury is holding a job fair for select positions at both the hotel and its adjoining water park, CoCo Key Water Resort. The event will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2009 from noon-7 pm. Holiday Inn Waterbury is located at 3580 East Main Street, Waterbury, Connecticut.
The resort is seeking to fill over 50 part-time positions. Due to the popularity of the CoCo Key Water Resort, life-guards are one of the key areas of emphasis at the job fair. The resort is seeking 15 new life-guards to supplement its existing staff. Other positions available at the hotel and water resort include restaurant staff, banquet servers, front desk associates, café attendants, snack bar cashiers, and many more. Holiday Inn Waterbury is an EOE/Drug Free workplace.
The Holiday Inn Waterbury and CoCo Key Water Resort’s job in February, 2009, received over 900 attendees, filling a multitude of positions both in the hotel and water resort. “We are proud to once again be able to provide such a tremendous employment opportunity in our area,” said Kate Terricciano, Director of Marketing at the resort. “We expect as great a response as we had earlier this year. We are conducting on-site interviews and screenings to streamline the hiring process and are seeking enthusiastic, motivated employees to join our team.”
Applicants are encouraged to arrive early and bring a copy of their resume. Relevant experience in the hospitality industry is a plus but is not mandatory.
