General Rules and Regulations

  • Please obey the lifeguards & Water Resort staff at all times
  • Use of CoCo Key Water Resort requires a valid wristband
  • Proper swimming attire is required. No cut offs, wet suits, or swim wear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, metal ornamentation, or loose strings
  • Park hours, activities and rides are subject to change based on occupancy and management's discretion
  • No refunds due to circumstances beyond our control
  • CoCo Key Water Resort maintains a tobacco free environment
  • Any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted in the water resort.
  • Individuals with infectious conditions, communicable disease or open sores are prohibited from entering the water
  • Management reserves the right to suspend privileges or refuse admittance to any person failing to comply with regulations
  • Management reserves the right to limit admission
  • Lifeguards enforce rules and respond to any aquatic emergencies, but parents are ultimately responsible for the safety of their children
  • Failure to follow rules and use common sense may result in serious injury to yourself or others
  • Guests must be 48 inches or taller to ride Shark Slam, Gator Gush and Barracuda Blast
  • Each attraction is unique and may not be suitable for all guests
  • Additional rules and requirements, such as height restrictions and rules of behavior, are posted at each attraction for your safety
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for directly supervising their children for the entire visit
  • Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by an adult
  • Children under 5 years of age must be within arm's reach of an adult at all times
  • U.S. Coast Guard approved lifejackets are recommended for younger children
  • Lifejackets are available on a first come first serve basis and must remain in the water resort
  • We have shallow water, therefore diving is prohibited
  • Please do not run, push, play rough, sit or stand on shoulders in the pool and deck areas
  • CoCo Key is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property. Locker usage is encouraged.
  • Coolers, glass, and outside food and beverages are not allowed in the water resort
  • Rafts, balls, flotation devices, snorkels, chairs and toys are prohibited in the water resort
  • Approved swim diapers are required for all diaper dependent guests
  • Diaper changing is allowed in restrooms only. Changing stations are provided
  • It is recommended that guests shower before and after entering the water
  • For health and safety purposes, only clean footwear, strollers or wheelchairs are allowed in the water resort and locker rooms
  • Pool water is not for drinking
  • CoCo Key towels and lifejackets must stay in the water resort
  • No cameras or video recording equipment are allowed in locker rooms
  • Please be aware that the water resort environment can be damaging to electronic equipment; use your discretion
  • CoCo Key Water Resort is an aquatic environment. Be prepared to get wet!

Shark Slam and Gator Gush

  • Riders must wait for the attendants start signal before starting
  • Maximum operational load 1 person per slide, 300 pounds per rider (136 kg)
  • Children under 48 inches tall (1.22m) are not permitted on this ride
  • Only 1 rider to enter the flume at a time. Never form chains
  • Slide must be ridden feet first lying on your back with legs firmly crossed at the ankles and arms folded across the chest
  • Do not uncross your legs or attempt to sit up while in the body slide
  • At the end of the slide, obey all instructions by splash pool attendant and exit quickly
  • No lifejackets allowed on body slide
  • Eyeglasses must be securely affixed to riders with head straps
  • Do not run, dive, stand, kneel, rotate or stop in the slide
  • CAUTION: For safety reasons, pregnant women and guests with heart conditions, back or neck problems should not ride this slide. Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to ride
  • Section 1711.551 of the Revised Code requires that riders must obey all warnings and directions regarding this ride and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others. Failure to comply is a misdemeanor

Barracuda Blast

  • Tube required to ride
  • Riders must wait for the attendants start signal before starting the ride
  • Tubes should be ridden in a seated position, facing forward with one rider per seat
  • Fullow the instructions of the attendant
  • Maximum operational load 2 persons, 400 pounds (182 kg)
  • Children under 48 inches (1.22 m) tall are not permitted on this ride
  • Eyeglasses must be securely affixed to riders with head strap
  • Only one inner tube to enter the flume at a time. Never form chains
  • Riders must stay on the tubes during the ride. If you accidentally fall from the tube continue on down the flume without it and exit normally.
  • Keep arms and hands inside the flumes at all times
  • Do not run, dive, stand, kneel rotate or stop in slide
  • At the end of the slide, obey all instructions by splash poul attendant and exit quickly, taking your tube with you
  • No swimming in splash poul
  • CAUTION: For safety reasons, pregnant women and guests with heart conditions, back or neck problems should not ride this slide. Persons under the influence of alcohul or drugs are not permitted to ride
  • Section 1711.551 of the Revised Code requires that riders must obey all warnings and directions regarding this ride and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others. Failure to comply is a misdemeanor

Parrots Perch

  • Fullow the instructions of the attendants at all times
  • An adult must supervise children in the play area at all times and accompany children under the age of 6
  • No running on or around the water play unit
  • No head first sliding on slides or in tunnels
  • No climbing on pipes or handrails
  • No hanging or swinging on pull ropes
  • Food and drinks are not allowed in play area
  • Remove all jewelry, loose clothing, toys, backpacks or sharp objects
  • All play equipment should be used in a safe and correct manner
  • Valves and handles are accessible to allow children and adults to throttle and play with the water. We encourage you and your children to turn, pull and open these valves to have fun with the water effect you create
  • Section 1711.551 of the Revised Code requires that riders must obey all warnings and directions regarding this ride and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others. Failure to comply is a misdemeanor

Parrot's Perch Slides

  • Follow the instructions of the attendant
  • Maximum operational load: 1 person, 300 pounds (136 kg)
  • Children are not permitted to ride on supervisor’s lap
  • Blue, Green, and Orange slides: Children under 40 inches (1.00 m) tall are not permitted
  • Red slides: Children under 36 inches (0.91 m) tall are not permitted
  • Eyeglasses must be securely affixed to riders with head straps
  • Only one rider to enter the flume at a time. Single Riders only. Do not form chains
  • Slide must be ridden feet first lying on your back or sitting face forward
  • Riders must wait for the ride to clear or attendant(s) start signal before starting the ride
  • Keep arms and hands inside the flume at all times
  • Do not run, dive, kneel, rotate or stop in the slide
  • At the end of the slide, obey all signs and instructions from pool attendant and exit quickly
  • CAUTION: For safety reasons, pregnant women and guests with heart conditions, back or neck problems should not ride this slide. Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to ride

Coconut Grove Adventure River

  • Follow lifeguard instructions
  • Please stay with tubes at all times while riding in the river. Do not form chains.
  • No free swimming or walking in river
  • Enter and exit the river at designated areas only
  • When exiting, please take your tube with you
  • Eating and drinking are prohibited
  • Please no rocking, tipping, or flipping tubes
  • Children under 36 inches (0.91 m) tall are not permitted on the lazy river
  • Children under 48 inches must be accompanied by an adult
  • Section 1711.551 of the Revised Code requires that riders must obey all warnings and directions regarding this ride and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others. Failure to comply is a misdemeanor

Dip-In Theater Children's Pool

  • Follow all lifeguard instructions
  • No one over 48 inches unless accompanied by a child
  • Slides are for children only
  • Parents must supervise their children
  • No jumping or diving into pool
  • Play equipment is intended for small children
  • Swim diapers are required for children not toilet trained
  • Play gentle. Small children use this area
  • Section 1711.551 of the Revised Code requires that riders must obey all warnings and directions regarding this ride and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others. Failure to comply is a misdemeanor

Dip-In Theater Slides

  • Follow the instructions for the attendant
  • Maximum operational load: 1 person, 200 pounds (91 kg)
  • Children are not permitted to ride on supervisor’s lap
  • You must be less the 48 inches in height to ride these rides
  • Children must be supervised by a parent to use these rides
  • No swimming allowed in the splash pool
  • Eyeglasses must be securely affixed to riders with head straps
  • Only one rider to enter the flume at a time. Single riders only. Do not form chains
  • Slide must be ridden feet first in a sitting position
  • Keep arms and hands inside the flume at all times
  • Do not run, dive, stand, kneel, rotate or stop in the slide
  • At the end of the slide, obey all signs and instructions from pool attendant and exit quickly
  • CAUTION: For safety reasons, pregnant women and guests with heart conditions, back or neck problems should not ride this slide. Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to ride
  • Section 1711.551 of the Revised Code requires that riders must obey all warnings and directions regarding this ride and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others. Failure to comply is a misdemeanor

Coral Reef Cavern

  • Follow the instructions of the lifeguard at all times
  • Only one person allowed on each floatable at a time
  • Children under 54 inches (1.22 m) tall are not permitted on this attraction
  • Use overhead system at all times
  • Please do not tip or rock the floats
  • Do not dive off floatable or pool deck
  • No “piggy back”, shoulder riding or horse play
  • Caution! Surface of the floatable is slippery
  • No dunking basketballs or hanging on the rims
  • Shoulder riding, excessive splashing, spitting and boisterous or rough play is strictly forbidden
  • Section 1711.551 of the Revised Code requires that riders must obey all warnings and directions regarding this ride and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others. Failure to comply is a misdemeanor

Palm Grotto Spa

  • No Lifeguard on duty!
  • Do not use alone
  • Children ages 17 and under are prohibited from using
  • Children 6 & over may use the Seascape Spa. Direct supervision of children by an adult is required
  • Water temperature is above 100° Fahrenheit. Please limit your visit to 15 minutes.
  • Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs may not use spa
  • Pregnant women, elderly person and person with heart disease, diabetes, low or high blood pressure should not enter
  • Exposure may result in nausea, dizziness or fainting. Observe a reasonable time limit (15 minutes), then leave the water and cool down before returning for another brief stay
  • Boisterous, rough play or splashing is prohibited
  • No jumping or diving into spa
  • No food or beverage allowed in spa
  • No smoking in or around spa

Seascape Spa

  • No Lifeguard on duty!
  • Do not use alone
  • All children under 16 must have direct adult supervision to use spa
  • Adults 18 & over may also use the Palm Grotto Spa.
  • Water temperature is below 100° Fahrenheit. Please limit your visit to 15 minutes
  • Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs may not use spa
  • Pregnant women, elderly person and person with heart disease, diabetes, low or high blood pressure should not enter
  • Exposure may result in nausea, dizziness or fainting. Observe a reasonable time limit (15 minutes), then leave the water and cool down before returning for another brief stay
  • Boisterous, rough play or splashing is prohibited
  • No jumping or diving into spa
