America to Decide Winner; Online Voting Underway through July 13, on www.CoCoKeyJingle.com
Mount Laurel, NJ (June 25, 2009) The Gupta Family, represented by local girls Nishtha and Navya Gupta, are selected to represent the CoCo Key Water Resort Mt. Laurel as national finalists in CoCo’s Jammin’ Jingle Contest.
CoCo’s Jammin’ Jingle Contest, launched in May, asked consumers to perform their creative rendition of the CoCo Key Water Resort jingle for a chance to win a $500 US Savings Bond, water park annual passes and the opportunity to be in an upcoming CoCo Key commercial. Individuals and groups of all ages were encouraged to participate. Singing, dancing and general silliness was highly encouraged.
Contestants submitted their entry via mail or by participating in an open audition at a local property. Hundreds participated in CoCo’s Jammin’ Jingle contest, but only one national finalist per property, for a total of 10 finalists, “made the cut” and are being featured on the CoCo Key jingle website for America to vote for their favorite.
Sisters, Nishtha Gupta, 10 years old, and Navya, 5 years old, are residents of Piscataway, NJ. While both girls carry their own separate interests, they both agree they have a love of dance and water. After seeing the contest opportunity online they jumped at being able to combine their interest in dance and a “splashy” good time.
“Our mom helped us fill out some of the computer stuff, but we came up with the dance all by ourselves” said Nishtha. “We are so excited!”
