What are the hours for CoCo Key Indoor Water Resort?

Are all attractions open at all times? 

In order to provide the best experience for all our guests, there may be instances where we'll need to rotate attraction openings.  On Monday - Thursday, our lazy river will be opened 2 hours after the water park opens.  Therefore guests will not have lazy river access until 5pm on Monday through Thursday and 12pm on Friday.  There may be other instances when attractions will have to close and/or rotate temporarily however we will work our best to be sure all guests have an opportunity to experience all attractions during their stay with us. 

Do I require a ticket if I'm only going to observe and not swim? 

In order to enter CoCo Key Water Resort, all guests, ages 2 and older, are required to purchase a ticket.  All those children under the age of 14, must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.  Even if you do not intend to swim, you are required to purchase a ticket. 

Are towels provided or do guests bring their own?

Towels are ONLY provided to guests staying at the hotel.  Day pass guests must provide their own towels.  Overnight guests will receive their towels in their rooms upon check-in.  All resort towels must remain in the resort. 

What is the cost for the CoCo Key Water Resort to a hotel guest?

Water park access is included with the purchase of a water park package room. A variety of packages include CoCo Key Water Resort access for up to 4 people per room and extra day passes may be purchased based on availability upon check-in.

How long are the wristbands valid?

Daily color-coded wristbands will be issued at hotel check-in. Wrist bands entitle hotel guests to use the water resort from park opening time the day you check in until park closing time the day you check out. Day Pass wristbands are valid based on operating hours for an individual day.

Can CoCo Key Water Resort be reserved for parties without an overnight guest room?

Is CoCo Key Water Resort close to the hotel?

The water park is attached to the Courtyard Marriott at the ground level. A separate entrance to the hotel provides quick access to guest rooms without the need to enter the main lobby.

Are day passes available for the use of CoCo Key Water Resort?

The water park is available to registered water resort overnight package guests of hotel. Day passes will be available to the general public on a capacity availability basis. Can guests bring their own outside food and drinks into CoCo Key Water Resort?

Because CoCo Key Water Resort is concerned about your safety, glass containers, coolers, ice chests as well as food and beverages of any kind are not permitted inside the park. For guest convenience a Pizza Hut Express, an A&W Snack Shop and the Wet Rooster Bar are located within the water park.

Is there any place to get food and beverage at CoCo Key Indoor Water Resort?

Within CoCo Key Water Resort families can enjoy both our A&W Snack Shop and our Pizza Hut Express. Beverages and light snacks are also available at the Wet Rooster Bar. The Courtyard by Marriott also offers several options, including The Bistro which is open daily, Applewoods Restaurant open Fri and Sat nights and open on Sat and Sun mornings for breakfast with offerings of salads, entrées, and modern American favorites.

Can baby food be brought into the water resort?

Baby bottles and commercial baby food are welcome. Please be sure to put them in plastic bottles/containers to protect little feet!

What if my friend wants to come visit us at the CoCo Key Water Resort?

Only hotel water resort package guests have guaranteed admission into CoCo Key Water Resort. Additional guests will be on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the water park’s capacity. What if I have a club or group that wants to experience the CoCo Key resort?

What happens if a wristband needs to be adjusted or is lost?

Guests with a wristband in need of an adjustment must have the Front Desk remove and replace the wristband for a $2.00 charge. Lost wristbands will be replaced with a full price fee.

Are there changing areas and locker facilities available at CoCo Key Water Resort?

There are men's, women's, and family changing/rest room areas available, complete with lockers as well as showers. Lockers are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. Lockers are $6 per day per locker. 

What is CoCo Key Water Resort's policy on inclement weather?

Your family's safety is our first priority!  As a result we follow specific guidelines with regards to inclement weather.

During all severe weather, some or all attractions may cease operation temporarily.  During all storms in which lightning is present within a 5 mile radius, ALL bodies of water will be closed.  When lightning is present within a 10 mile radius, outdoor attractions will be closed. 

In the event that some or all attractions are temporarily shut down for inclement weather, CoCo Key will make every effort to re-open attractions as soon as conditions permit safe operation. Refunds will not be given for inclement weather.

What about water safety? Are there lifeguards?

We are vigilant about the safety and security of all guests. Licensed lifeguards staff CoCo Key Water Resort at all times during normal operating hours. Safety rules are posted at each pool and attraction. Nevertheless, we urge parents to teach their children about water safety prior to visiting the water resort. Please be sure non-swimmers or weak swimmers wear USCGA approved life vests. Complimentary life vests are available at CoCo Key as well on a first-come, first-served basis. The traditional outdoor swimming pool at the Royal Plaza is not staffed with lifeguards and children who visit the swimming pool must be accompanied by an adult.

Are there any height restrictions for children riding the slides?

For the safety of all children, certain attractions do require height requirements. Barracuda Blast & Pelican Plunge have a minimum height requirement of 48 inches. Shark Slam has a required height of 42".  Parrot's Perch slides have a minimum height requirement of 40 inches. Parents are not permitted to accompany children down the slides.

Are swimming goggles permitted?

Swimming goggles are permitted with the exception of on the slides and at the discretion of the lifeguards. Flotation devices of any kind are not permitted inside the water park other than those provided inside the water park.

Are there any health restrictions relative to the water park attractions?

It is recommended that persons with preexisting medical conditions and women who are pregnant not participate. Guests having an obvious communicable disease, skin eruption, open cut or sore, lesion, or eye, ear, nose or throat infection are not permitted in the water. Each individual is encouraged to evaluate his or her own ability to participate.

Is there an arcade or game room in the water resort?

CoCo Key Water Resort's Key Quest Arcade features over 30 state-of-the-art electronic games and a full-service ticket redemption center.

Are children that wear regular diapers permitted in the water resort?

Children who wear diapers are required to wear a swim diaper for health and safety reasons. Water-specific diapers are available in the water resort for a nominal fee. Please use the changing facilities located in the rest rooms to change diapers.

What is CoCo Key Water Resort's reservation and cancellation policy?

Individual reservations must be guaranteed to a major credit card with the first night deposit placed on the card at the time of booking to be considered confirmed. Reservations canceled within 72 hours of the arrival date are nonrefundable. Reservations may be confirmed by check. However, checks cannot be accepted for reservations made within 8 days of an arrival date. Individual day passes are non refundable

How many people do your guest rooms accommodate?

The guest rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott are able to accommodate 4 guests. Rollaway beds cannot be placed in rooms with two double beds for our guests safety.

What benefits will Marriott Rewards Members have with the Water Resort?

Like many of our sister resort properties, Marriott Rewards points may be used towards your room, but not for additional resort features – in this case, the water resort. Day passes would need to be purchased separately if you are redeeming points to stay.

What are check-in and check-out hours?

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. or later, though every effort will be made to honor early check-in requests. Water park guests may use the water park and changing facilities beginning at 10:00am. on their arrival day. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Strict compliance ensures arriving water resort guests timely access to clean accommodations. Departing water resort guests are welcome to make complete use of CoCo Key Water Resort and changing facilities on the day of their departure. However, guests must vacate their room by 11:00 a.m. on their scheduled departure date at which time the key card will expire.

Is there a dress code in the resort?

Inside the resort guests wishing to participate in swimming activities must be wearing a lined swim suit.  Resort attire is appropriate when inside Coco Key.  Outside of the resort, shirts, Shoes, and shorts are required. This includes all lobby areas, arcade, and hotel common areas.
