What is the cost for the CoCo Key Water Resort to a Holiday Inn Omaha Convention Center guest?

Water resort access is included with the purchase of a water resort overnight package. Packages include CoCo Key Water Resort access for up to 4 people per room and 2 extra day passes may be purchased for $19 each based on availability upon check-in.  Click HERE to book day passes online.

All guests entering the water resort must purchase and wear an admission wristband, including non-swimming spectators.

How long are the wristbands valid?

Daily color-coded wristbands will be issued at hotel check-in. Wristbands allow access to the water resort until the time of closing on the day of check-out. Day Pass wristbands are valid from 10:00am-8:00pm Sunday; 11:00am-8:00pm Monday; CLOSED Tuesday & Wednesday except for the weeks of major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.; 11:00am-8:00pm Thursday; 11:00am-9:00pm Friday; 10:00am-9:00pm Saturday.

Can CoCo Key Water Resort be reserved for parties without an overnight guest room?

CoCo Key Water Resort accepts reservations for birthday party packages without an overnight guest room on a space-available basis. Visit our birthday party page for more information on birthday party packages.

Is CoCo Key Water Resort close to the Holiday Inn Omaha Convention Center?

The water resort is attached to the Holiday Inn Omaha Convention Center on the ground level.

Are towels provided or do guests bring their own?

Complimentary towels are provided inside the water resort.

Guests are asked to leave towels in the water resort.

Are day passes available for the use of CoCo Key Water Resort?

The water resort is available to registered water resort overnight package guests of Holiday Inn Omaha Convention Center. Day passes will be available as water resort capacity allows. Click here to purchase CoCo Key day passes online!

Is there an arcade or game room in the water resort?

CoCo Key Water Resort's interactive Key Quest Arcade features over 80 state-of-the-art electronic games and a full-service ticket redemption center.

Key Quest Arcade is open to Holiday Inn hotel guests as well as water resort patrons.

Some of our top games include:  Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution, Big Buck Hunter Pro, Deal or No Deal, Derby Owner Club, Super Shot, Skee Ball, Spider Stomp, Fast & Furious Drift, Tower of Power.

Is there any place to get food and beverage at CoCo Key Indoor Water Resort?

Within CoCo Key Water Resort families can enjoy both the A&W Snack Shop and Pizza Hut Express. Beverages and light snacks are also available at the Wet Rooster Bar. 

Our food outlets typically close one hour prior to the water resort closing.

Can guests bring their own outside food and drinks into CoCo Key Water Resort?

Because CoCo Key Water Resort is concerned about your safety, glass containers, coolers, ice chests as well as food and beverages of any kind are not permitted inside the park. For guest convenience a Pizza Hut Express, an A&W Snack Shop and the Wet Rooster Bar are located within the water resort.

Can baby food be brought into the water resort?

Baby bottles and commercial baby food are welcome. Please be sure to put them in plastic bottles/containers to protect little feet!

What if my friend wants to come visit us at the CoCo Key Water Resort?

Only Holiday Inn Omaha Convention Center water resort package guests have guaranteed admission into CoCo Key Water Resort. Additional guests will be on a first-come, first-served basis, based on water resort capacity.

What if I have a club or group that wants to experience the CoCo Key resort?

CoCo Key Water Resort is the ultimate place for a group outing! Special packages and rates are available for groups of 15 or more. Advance reservations required for group discounts.  Call our Group Sales Manager at 402.547.5612 for more information.

What happens if a wristband needs to be adjusted or is lost?     

Guests with a wristband in need of an adjustment must have the water resort Front Desk remove and replace the wristband for a $5.00 charge. Lost wristbands will be replaced with a full price fee.

Are there changing areas and locker facilities available at CoCo Key Water Resort?

There are men's and women's changing/rest room areas available, complete with lockers as well as showers. Lockers are available for rent for $5.00 per day on a first-come, first-served basis.

For hotel water resort package guests enjoying the water resort outside of regular hotel check-in/check-out hours, we recommend packing a separate, small "beach bag" with goggles, flip-flops, etc.  Towels are provided complimentary inside the water resort.

What about water safety? Are there lifeguards?

The safety and security of all guests is a top priority for CoCo key Water Resort. Ellis and Associates licensed lifeguards staff CoCo Key Water Resort at all times during normal operating hours. Safety rules are posted at each pool and attraction. Nevertheless, parents are encouraged to teach their children about water safety prior to visiting the water resort. Please ensure non-swimmers or weak swimmers wear U.S. Coast Guard Approved life vests. Complimentary life vests are available at inside the water resort on a first-come, first-served basis.  Outside floatation devices such as water wings are prohibited.

Are there any height and/or weight restrictions for children riding the slides?

For the safety of all children, certain attractions require height requirements, even when accompanied by an adult, as well as weight recommendations. Gator Gush, Barracuda Blast & Pelican Plunge have a minimum height requirement of 48 inches, Parrot's Perch slides have a minimum height requirement of 40 inches, and the Dip-In Theater has a maximum height limit of 48 inches. Weight recommendations for slides are as follows: Barracuda Blast and Pelican Plunge, 400 lbs; Gator Gush and Parrot's Perch slides, 300 lbs; Dip-In Theatre slides, 200 lbs.

What is CoCo Key Water Resort's policy on inclement weather?

Your family's safety is our first priority!  CoCo Key Water Resort does not provide refunds for closings due to inclement weather.

During all severe weather, outdoor attractions will be closed.  During all storms in which lightning is present within a 5 mile radius, ALL bodies of water will be closed.  When lightning is present within a 10 mile radius, outdoor attractions will be closed. 

During a Tornado Watch, Management may decide to close outdoor attractions as necessary.  When Douglas County is under a Tornado Warning the entire Water Resort will be cleared and all guests will be advised to take proper precautions regarding tornado safety.  Minors without a parent present will be required to take shelter as deemed appropiate by Water Resort Management.

Are swimming goggles or flotation devices permitted?

Swimming goggles are permitted in the water resort. Goggles with snorkels attached are prohibited. Flotation devices are not permitted within the water resort with the exception of U.S. Coast Guard Approved life vests. Children wearing water wings must still required to wear a life vest in designated height restricted areas.

Are there any health restrictions relative to water resort attractions?

It is recommended that persons with preexisting medical conditions and women who are pregnant not participate. Guests having an obvious communicable disease, skin eruption, open cut or sore, lesion, eye, ear, nose or throat infection are not permitted in the water. Each guest is encouraged to evaluate his or her own ability to participate.

Are children that wear regular diapers permitted in the water resort?

Children who wear diapers are required to wear a swim diaper for health and safety reasons. Water-specific diapers are available in the water resort gift shop for a nominal fee. Please use the changing facilities located in the rest rooms to change diapers.

What is CoCo Key Water Resort's reservation and cancellation policy?

Individual reservations must be guaranteed to a major credit card with the first night deposit placed on the card at the time of booking to be considered confirmed. Any reservations cancelled after 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival will result in a charge equal to one full night’s stay. For Water Resort Group and Birthday Party Package reservations and cancellation policies, please call 402.393.3950.

CoCo Key Water Resort does not provide refunds for closings due to inclement weather.

What are check-in and check-out hours?

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. or later. Early check-in requests will be honored as availability allows, but is not guaranteed. Water resort package guests may use the water park and changing facilities beginning at the time of water resort opening on day of check-in.

Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.   Guests not in compliance with hotel check-out times will be charged for an additional night's stay.Guests may use the water park and changing facilities beginning at the time of opening on the day of their check-in.

We recommend packing a separate, small "beach bag" with goggles, flip flops, etc. for guests enjoying the water park before or after hotel check-in/check-out hours.

Weather Policy

Weather Policy
CoCo Key Water Resorts takes the safety of our guests very seriously.  As a result we follow specific guidelines with regards to inclement weather.  During periods of inclement weather some or all attractions may cease operation temporarily.  This includes outdoor attractions as well as indoor attractions which are affected by lightning storms.  In the event that some or all attractions are temporarily shut down for inclement weather, CoCo Key will make every effort to re open attractions as soon as conditions permit safe operation.

Are towels provided in the resort?

Towels are provided to each guest when they receive their wristband for the day.  Used towels may be exchanged at Rusty's Dive Shop for clean towels.  All resort towels must remain in the resort.  CoCo Key encourages guests to bring their own towels and souvenir towels are also for sale in most retail locations within the resort.

Is there a dress code in the resort?

Inside the resort guests wishing to participate in swimming activities must be wearing a lined swim suit.  Resort attire is appropriate when inside Coco Key.  Outside of the resort, shirts, Shoes, and shorts are required. This includes all lobby areas, arcade, and hotel common areas.
